Are letters written to the Council read by the Council?

The Clerk is the gateway to the Council and deals with the correspondence. All letters are acknowledged prior to being answered. However, the Council has copies of letters, each Friday, received from people living in the parish. Some of the letters are discussed at the monthly meeting. Any decision made by the Council is then notified to the writer of the appropriate letter.

How do I report a faulty street light outside my property?

Please note the street light number, which can be found on a metal plate on the lamp and report to PTC or alternatively the Street Lighting department at Cornwall Council on 0300 1234 222.

When is the next collection for my garden waste?

Garden waste is collected every other Thursday. The next date is Thursday 28 July 2011 and fortnightly thereafter.

Where can I access the internet in Padstow?

How do I go about putting my name down for a house in Padstow?
