STAFF VACANCY
JOB TITLE: Seasonal Car Park Attendants (2 posts)
DISTRICT: Padstow, Cornwall
WAGE: £13,874 per annum pro rata
HOURS: Either:
37 hours over 6 day week working evenings and weekends
Or
37 hours working Monday – Friday during the daytime
DURATION: Temporary contract until end of October
DETAILS: Issuing Excess Charge Notices in respect of non-payment of Pay & Display charges at the Council’s Lawn and Railway Car parks; reporting minor faults of the Pay & Display machines to the Council Office; sweeping and cleaning car park areas as necessary.
ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION: Candidates must have neat and legible handwriting as Excess Charge Notices are legal documents. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate tact and diplomacy when handling difficult situations that may arise.

ALLOCATION OF GRANTS & DONATIONS 2010/2011
Applications are invited from local organisations wishing to apply for a grant or donation during the financial year to 31 March 2011. Applications should include
a) Brief details of the organisation and its aims,
b) the amount requested with explanations of how the grant will be spent,
c) the source and amount of any other funding towards the project including own funds
d) a copy of organisations latest accounts in support of their application.
